Good Morning, Internets

I'm a huge fan of Penny Arcade, arguably the first mainstream level success webcomic, which provide the medium legitimately viable. And unlike some things, which tend to get a bit pretentious and up its own ass when it has an audience, Penny Arcade hasn't changed a bit. And I love that. This strip hasn't lost its geeky sense of fun either.

Good Morning, Internets

The amount of time people have on their hands will never cease to amaze me. I mean, really...who discovers they can fashion a statue of Darth Vader out of butter?

Stephen showed me this video yesterday, and it's one of the most damn funny things I've seen in a while. Enjoy.

Good Morning, Internets

This is a consistently growing sinkhole in Daisetta, TX. It's already 600 ft wide and 150 ft deep, quite literally swallowing a small town. It's already taken out a number of pieces of oil equipment and small houses and is slowly inching towards a major highway. Residents are being put on alert to be prepared to move at a moment's notice.

Comforting thought of the day: The ground is trying to eat you.

Everyone made it out safely, save for Fred, whom opted for the second option.

The boys at The Tangled Web sent me this. I...believe I've posted this before, but I can't remember. All the same...it's hilarious.

Good Morning, Internets

My bulletins have been a bit fucked up as of late.

Anywho, this comes from an entertaining little webcomic called The Perry Bible Fellowship.

Good Morning, Internets

Chalk sidewalk art is an impressive art form. These guys are clearly masters of the optical illusion. I find it fascinating that you can do a simple pose and become part of the piece as well with the right placement.
